Babies and toddlers love to get messy and it’s so important that they get to experience it - but sometimes the thought of the clean up can be super overwhelming.
That’s where we come in - our sensory sessions involve a range of different taste safe sensory experiences for your little one to explore and enjoy.
Each week we explore a different theme and a variety of sensory experiences. Your little one is almost guaranteed to get messy, have fun and have a great nap after!
Our sessions are aimed at children aged 6 months to 4 years.

Hi, I’m Courtney - play enthusiast, founder and creator of
The Sensory Way.
With 10 years experience in Early Childhood and Montessori qualifications I have always loved all things sensory play and I just love setting up experiences for my son to explore.
After relocating to Cairns in 2022 with my family, I was looking for activities to do with my son during the week and connect with other mums with little ones - and that is how The Sensory Way was born.
An environment where your little one can explore, create, imagine, build, experience, investigate, observe and use their senses and most of all - have so much fun. And you can build your village and connect with other parents in Cairns.
The best part of it all is that you don’t have to clean up - and you and your little ones can have some fun!
