About Us
Hi, I’m Courtney - play enthusiast, founder and creator of The Sensory Way.
With 12 years experience in Early Childhood and Montessori qualifications I have always loved all things sensory play and I just love setting up experiences for my son to explore. After relocating to Cairns in 2022 with my family, I was looking for activities to do with my son during the week and connect with other mums with little ones - and that is how The Sensory Way playgroup was born.
In 2024 we opened our online store with just a handful of beautiful products. Fast forward to 2026, and we now have a curated collection of my favourite Sensory Play items that I use and love with my toddler at home.
